Assam Right to Public Service Act, 2012 was enacted to provide services to the citizens in timely manner. Following amendments in 2019 and 2024, the Act is now known as the Assam Right to Public Services (Amendment) Act, 2024. This revised version further strengthens its focus on "Bringing Services Closer to People" by enhancing provisions for timely and effective service delivery.
